If you lose your mobile phone it’s much easier to simply have the entire contents of your phone completely erased with the push of a button — no matter where your phone may be. Reloading your phone is just as easy.

Another advantage is that you probably are much more closely connected to your mobile phone than you are with your wallet. Here’s a test. Where is your phone right now? I’m guessing that it is right next to you. Where is your wallet? If it’s not in your back pocket then it’s probably in your purse (where is that right now?) or maybe in your glovebox or on your dresser at home. The fact is, you will likely realize that your phone is missing before you realize that your wallet is missing… get the point?
